The learning principles of multimedia can help to study, teach, and work more efficiently.

The individual difference principle plays an essential role in my study life. For example, I am not good at concepts, but I can do well in math. I have followed this principle in the following two ways. On the one hand, compared to reading the concepts in the textbook, I prefer to search some relevant written examples online or videos on YouTube. That helps me understand these words better. But on the other hand, to memorize study knowledge, I usually write them on paper many times to practice my muscle memory.

However, I used to break the personalized principle. In my earlier study progress, I spent the most time working on my answers close to the “standard answer,” and I believed I could get a higher or excellent grade this way. I was afraid of making mistakes. As a result, I could not think critically and creatively when I jumped into some essay courses. Now I pay more attention to improving my ideas and learning from my mistakes. Besides, I would discuss my thoughts with others and understand new perspectives from various people.

It is my first time trying the sketch noting learning method. I found it is really helpful for managing the details of my class. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the pad, so I tried to make a simple sketch note through an online design website. Sorry for the typo below.
