When I use WAVE to track my first blog, it shows how many features I used to support my idea. In future blogs, I will use more multimedia, such as URLs and videos, to present my ideas more visually.

The WAVE report for my blog#1

Text Speech tools help me a lot in my daily life.

  • Education. After the pandemic, some of my professors would upload several recorded videos online. Sometimes I will open the text-to-speech tools to understand better what the professor said, especially for some unfamiliar words.
  • Learning a foreign language. For example, I am a big k-pop fan and usually watch idols’ live videoes, but I don’t have professional knowledge of Korean words. In this case, I will reply on iFLYTEK to overcome the communication barrier.

  • Chatting platforms. Text-to-speech tools helped me to gather audio messages effectively when I am in a condition where I cannot listen to the voice.

Consider More People’s Accessibilities in Physical Designs

Firstly, images and videos should be described with visual elements by words or ALT texts so that users who cannot load images and videos can also get accurate information.

Secondly, minimize technical terms in the article so that more people can understand it better.

Thirdly, audiences can access content through different streams. For example, viewers can only read pages files through Apple products such as the MacBook. Preference should be given to Microsoft software when uploading relevant material.
